How to use Qatar’s Metro System to get to Stadiums

Using Google Maps and Qatar 2022’s “Getting to Stadiums” section, we’ve mapped out the options for getting to stadiums from the accompanying metro stops, similar to our earlier post regarding bus stations.

It does appear that metro and bus travel will be free for carriers of the Fan ID for Qatar, which is called Hay’ya Card.

The 2021 Arab Cup operated a shuttle system for matches and contained detailed info on how long the shuttle rides took + the walking time from the shuttle stop. We assume it will be the same for the World Cup since distances from metro to stadium won’t be changing. 🙂

Again, the Qatar 2022 site has a link on each stadium but we summarized it below + added some extra character to the Google maps.

You can also look at all options for public transportation here.
